Risk Adviser

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Advisory team at Marsh. This role will be based in Auckland. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Risk Advisor will assist Client Executives in all aspects of client service, including face-to-face client contact, administration, technical support, and business development, while also working towards developing your own SME book of business.

We will count on you to:

Service a client portfolio of predominantly NZ owned businesses, ensuring that our growth targets and service standards are met.Prepare all documentation for clients and insurers.Manage client renewals in accordance with Marsh’s “Client First Principles” to deliver consistent quality service to our Commercial clients.Attend and participate in industry and client events to build a strong professional network and represent the Company.Work actively with Client Executives to understand the client's business, risk management, and insurance needs.Implement renewal and broking strategies as instructed by Client Executives.Assist Client Executives with account retention and defence strategies.Maintain a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance offered by the Company.

What you need to have:

Good written and verbal communication skills.A minimum of 2+ years of insurance industry experience; preferably broking, underwriting or within a role related to broking.Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Motivation for client services and solutions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
