Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Risk Manager in Portland, Oregon. As a Risk Manager, your primary role will be to manage and evaluate risks in the insurance sector, focusing on claims administration and corporate risk. You will be expected to bring your experience and knowledge in claims processing and insurance to the role. Responsibilities: • Evaluate and manage insurance claims, ensuring they are processed accurately and efficiently. • Apply your understanding of commercial insurance to analyze corporate risk. • Utilize your experience with Oregon-based operations to enhance risk management strategies. • Apply your knowledge of higher education or government sectors to analyze and manage risks. • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all risk management activities. • Act as a point of contact for risk-related inquiries and issues. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. • Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve risk management processes. • Stay informed about industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices in risk management.
