About Risk and Compliance Team: The Risk and Compliance team supports a large Financial Services Client’s real estate portfolio. The Risk and Compliance team is responsible for:

Proactively identifying, assessing, and treating operational, contractual, regulatory, financial and reputational risks

Monitoring treated risks for sustainability

Ensuring contractual compliance

Conduct internal audits and track progress to remediation

Act as Ethics Liaison to ensure compliance with JLL’s Code of Ethics on-account

What the job involves:

We are currently seeking a Summer Intern in Risk & Compliance to join our team. In this role, you will learn how to identify, assess, and treat risk, conduct an internal audit, ensure contractual compliance, and support compliance with our Code of Ethics.

As a Summer Intern in Risk & Compliance at JLL, you will:

Support risk management activities on account, including:

Conducting risk assessments

Assist in internal audit process to test compliance to the process, test controls, assess risk and provide audit report

Monitor contractual compliance

Identify and raise emerging risks in the commercial real estate and/or banking industries

Develop Risk Moments to provide risk tips and best practices to kick off meetings
 

Serve as Ethics Liaison on-account and create Ethics Moments for account communications

Develop and enhance your business networking and acumen by attending training sessions, culture and engagement sessions, networking opportunities, etc.

Education, Skills, and Experience

Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with 1-2 years completed majoring in Risk Management, Business, or related field.

Strong Written and Verbal Communication

Detail-Oriented

Adaptable

Collaborative and a Team Player

Experience with Google Slides, Sheets, and Docs, Microsoft Excel and data analysis
