Job Title: Risk and Standards Officer – Mining

Location: Mpumalanga, South Africa

Job Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk and Standards Officer to join their mining operation in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as identifying and mitigating risks to the operation.

Responsibilities:

Facilitates the drafting and control for requirements of mining, engineering and process areas. Responsible for setting up standards meetings, and facilitation and drafting of new documents Facilitate and draft the governance documents according to the relevant requirements

 

Requirements:

Grade 12 COMSOC 1 and 2 or SAMTRAC Diploma in Safety Management Trade Certificate Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a gold mining environment ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Legislation Auditing of SHE Management programs

Benefits:

Salary: R800k – R1m CTC
