Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Director of Rick role! Your role will encompass the broad scope of risk management oversight, focusing on managing property and casualty insurance programs, contractual risk transfer, and claims management. Responsibilities: • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the risk management program • Assess exposure and risk across the organization, recommending appropriate risk transfer and mitigation programs • Manage property and casualty insurance programs, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization • Oversee contractual risk transfer, ensuring that all contracts align with the organization's risk management strategy • Manage and oversee the organization's grant-funded workers compensation program • Oversee claims management, ensuring that all claims are handled efficiently and effectively • Handle the collection and cost recovery of property damage claims • Utilize Microsoft Excel and other tools to manage and analyze risk data • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards • Manage relationships with vendors and other external partners to ensure the effective operation of the risk management program • Conduct audits and oversee capital management as part of the risk management process. Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Risk Management role or related field, preferably within the Government sector. • Proficient in Auditing, with a strong ability to identify potential risks and propose mitigating strategies. • Demonstrated experience in Capital Management, ensuring the organization's financial stability and growth. • Skilled in Claim Administration, with a focus on accurate and timely processing of claims. • Strong understanding of Compliance requirements within the Government sector, and ability to implement and monitor adherence to these regulations. • Proficiency in Credit risk management, with the ability to analyze and mitigate potential credit risks. • Experience with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) systems and strategies, with a focus on minimizing potential operational risks. • Knowledge of Enterprise Risk, with the ability to identify and propose strategies to manage these risks. • Experience with Property Claim and Property Insurance, with a focus on accurate and timely claim processing and insurance policy management. • Familiarity with Insurance - Annual Statement Preparation, with the ability to prepare and present these statements accurately and on time. • Proficient in Vendor Management, with a focus on managing relationships with vendors and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products or services. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate large data sets and create insightful reports.
