Risk Engineering, Business Process Lead

The Risk Engineering Business Process Lead will be responsible for managing the Guidepoint strategy, implementing Risk Engineering Services (RES) business processes, product development, and maintenance. The Risk Engineering Business Process Lead reports into the VP, Optimization and Product Manager of Risk Engineering. The main objectives of this role are to deliver and maintain high-quality services and products to all Guidepoint stakeholders in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
This role will require to follow the 3/2 hybrid work model (3 days in office with 2 days WFH). Candidate will be based in Whitehouse Station, NJ. Potential location flexibility within Chubb US branch offices.
Responsibilities:
Engage with underwriting business partners, Chubb IT, Risk Engineering Services Leadership, and Majesco (i.e. vendor) to identify and manage all Guidepoint (i.e. application) priorities Apply project management skills to support implementation of Guidepoint configurations for new product development enhancements Create and update comprehensive field training materials for Guidepoint enhancements, specifically tailored for field personnel. Ensure that users have the necessary resources and knowledge to effectively utilize new functionalities and features Stay updated on rapidly changing situations and new business requirements by promptly and efficiently distributing and implementing information for Global Risk Engineering teams Apply project management skills to support Guidepoint in implementing application configurations for new product development enhancements and provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to manage priorities, ensure successful project execution, and drive business efficiencies through technology priorities, resulting in profitable acquisition and retention of business Write detailed requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop scalable application configurations to support new product enhancements Effectively manage projects and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring that both business requirements and deliverables are met Work closely with field experts to gather feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure seamless adoption and utilization of new product enhancements Manage new product development projects, proactively address technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for a smooth integration into existing systems and processes Develop training documents, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure all milestones are met within the given time frame for successful project delivery Resolve technical problems and inquiries that arise during the product development process, effectively troubleshooting and addressing any technical issues. Also, manage stakeholder expectations regarding technical matters Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure that all applications are properly configured and functional before product launch Provide support for all Guidepoint service tickets and enhancements using ServiceNow and JIRA ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution and efficient communication Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices pertaining to project management, new product development, and application configurations. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and drive innovation based on these insights. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously. Maintain meticulous attention to detail and consistently meet deadlines Collaborate with Risk Engineering Services global management and regional teams to identify areas for improvement in business practices and procedures related to RES technology and systems Maintain strong relationships with other Chubb business units to monitor service levels and propose efficiency improvements Ensure global systems harmonization to maintain and enhance efficiencies across Risk Engineering Services Evaluate Risk Engineering Services operations beyond technology to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization Contribute to the development of global and regional standards and guidance in Risk Engineering Services technology and platforms Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience requiredEngineering, information technology or physical science degree (or equivalent experience) with 4+ years professional experience in related information technology, IT project management or risk engineering activitiesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel to build complex formulas and create reportsEffective communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with Chubb personnel around the world as well as contractors, vendors, and suppliersStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, effectively applying them in practical situations. Skilled in positively influencing others to achieve goals and objectivesStrong organizational, planning, and executions skillsWorking knowledge of Property and Casualty policy coverages and exclusions, insurance programs, servicing capabilities and operations of Risk EngineeringThrives and excels in a fast-paced work environmentTrack record of embracing change and successfully leading during times of significant changeA working knowledge of Chubb IT systems and corporate IT policies and procedures is desirable
