Risk Management Analyst II
Specific Responsibilities

The Risk Management Analyst II supports the Insurance and Risk Management group by assisting with various placements of coverages, compiling underwriting information and other data, claims administration and working with various stakeholders in the company. This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

 

•    Manage placement of primary casualty policies
•    Collect and analyze information gathered for insurance renewal submissions or placements 
•    Manage issuance of auto ID cards and compulsory workers compensation postings
•    Issue certificates of insurance to third parties as requested
•    Report workers compensation claims to carriers. Work with supervisors and managers for return-to-work accommodations, if needed
•    Work with various departments to obtain claim settlement authority and authorizations
•    Notify insurers of personal injury claims on a timely basis and track development of such claims
•    Manage surety bond portfolio and maintain an accurate record of all surety bonds (issued by and in favor of the Company)
•    Arrange for timely payments and verify billings of costs associated with policy placements, surety bonds and claims.  
•    Manage open claims to ensure proper payments, timely resolution and closure
•    Additional responsibilities as assigned  Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:    

 

3+ years’ experience in corporate risk management
•    Bachelor’s degree preferably in risk management, accounting or related field 
•    Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
•    Administrative and organizational skills 
•    Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Competencies
