The Risk Management & Insurance Specialist Manager position at BlueOval SK will have a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, launching the facility from ground up.
BlueOval SK is seeking Treasury talent capable to lead this critical investment of capital in the EV revolution and partner with our parent organizations and customers. An individual willing to take on the challenge of building something new and to proactively develop, communicate, and implement the best solutions will find an enjoyable and rewarding experience in this role.
Key responsibilities include:
Work as an integral part of BlueOval SK's wider FinanceTreasury teamDevelop insurance programs appropriate for our evolving exposures as we grow from start up to future stateSupport funding initiatives, with expertise and ownership of all debt servicing requirementsManage renewals of all lines of property & casualty coveragePrepare underwriting submissions for each insurance placementEvaluate risk financing structures to optimize TCORDevelop and scale core Treasury processes and systems supporting:Accurate near-term and long-term cash forecastingSystematic payment processes and controlsCash and liquidity managementDaily bank account reconciliation of system and bank recordsManage different transaction types including loan activity, supplier payments, payroll and benefits, and other payments on timely basisContinue development of Treasury policies and controlsDevelop and maintain relationships and work cooperatively with all stakeholdersManage insurance brokers, TPA’s, actuaries, and loss prevention consultantsWork with internal and external resources to ensure accurate insurance and loss budgeting, reserving, and reportingPartner with stakeholders across the enterprise to proactively identify and manage operational risksAdvise the company on coverage elections, insurance structures, policy language, and overall protection of our people, assets, and brandAssist in the development of claims handling and reporting policiesReview contracts for insurance and indemnity requirementsCapabilities RequiredLeading transformational changeInnovationCritical thinkingResourcefulnessConfidence, courage and independenceStrong interpersonal and influencing skills, collaboratorDrive for results and sense of urgencyData-drivenMinimum Qualifications and Key ExperiencesAt least 3 years’ experience in a Treasury, Banking or related Finance role with commercial property & casualty insurance programsBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, risk management, or related fieldStrong analytical skills including Finance/Treasury business acumenSelf-driven with an ability to strategically solve problems and thrive in a dynamic environmentAbility to manage detail while supporting multiple tasks orand critical deadlinesExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong excel skillsGeneral insurance payments knowledge (SWIFT, ACH)Preferred Qualifications and Key ExperiencesMBA accounting or financeExperience with SAPARM, CRM, CPCU, or other insurance certificationExperience handling claimswith loan transactions, grants or other incentivesAdditional Information

Position is to be located in Memphis, TN, with a hybrid work arrangement of at least 3 days/week in office
