The Regulatory Relations Specialist - Senior is responsible for facilitating regulatory exams from start to finish and assisting with remediation of regulatory findings. The Regulatory Relations team has extensive exposure across the Company and will interact with all segments and become a valued partner by working cross-functionally with senior and executive management, segment risk, Corporate Risk Management and Internal Audit to fulfill responsibilities and act in an advisory capacity. This high-visibility position will coordinate all exam related activities timely and work closely with business units to ensure comprehensive responses to regulatory requests. The Regulatory Relations group is embedded in Enterprise Risk Management. This role will give the qualified candidate direct exposure to senior management across all parts of the Company.
Detailed Description:
Help support exam management for Regulatory Relations, which includes nearly 60 enterprise-wide exams annually. Work closely with our primary regulators – OCC, FRB, CFPB, FDIC.Coordinate and facilitate exam meetings and interact with stakeholders on exam requests, including managing request lists and follow up requests.Review content and quality of responses and ensure timely submission. Provide constructive feedback to business partners, as needed.Escalate potential concerns to management, then help coordinate efforts to resolve the issues.Assist with remediation of regulatory findings. Work closely with multiple business partners to coordinate timely responses and remediation. Focus on the quality of the content presented to regulators is key.Tracking and reporting matters requiring attention via Archer GRC tool.Help produce Board and executive management committee decks and reporting.Complete ad hoc research or documentation requests in support of Corporate Risk programs and Reputation Risk, including, but not limited to, industry research, gap assessments, preparing management presentations and participating in projects.Self-directed at identifying other tasks and processes that enable smooth functioning of exam management and MRA remediation processes.Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree3 - 5 years of experience in Risk, Audit, Project Management Support in a banking institution, Regulatory Exams and Supervision, or related fieldFamiliarity with the examination process is preferred, but not requiredAbility to drive deliverable deadlines from internal partnersStrong time-management abilities to complete assignments with a sense of urgencyStrong attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; PowerPointPreferred Qualifications

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
