A day in the life.
As our Risk Management Specialist on the Enterprise Risk Management team, you’ll work with internal team and clients in the planning, development, implementation and delivery of Risk Management services. Responsibilities include understanding client exposures and interpreting loss trends to identify and deploy available risk management resources, ie; loss control training, carrier tools/services, outside service providers and 360˚ Online.
As our Risk Management Specialist on the Enterprise Risk Management team, you’ll
Interpret client loss analysis and exposures to identify prevention & loss control needs.On assigned accounts, work in conjunction with Risk Advisor to define carrier service requirements specific to prevention & loss control resources & services.Contribute to the development and implementation of added value Risk Management Service Commitments and align available outside services related prevention & loss control.Maintain understanding of tools available via 360˚ Online, the Risk Management Online website and support/train clients on system benefits.Ensure all loss control services are executed in accordance with client Service Commitment and documented accordingly in both the agency management system and Activity Manager.Manage ad-hoc and stored SQL, as well as Excel tools to extract and analyze dataOur future colleague.
We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or high school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 2 years insurance/Risk Management experienceStrong attention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical skills – experience and ability to work with and analyze large data sets and pull reportsDrafts and/or evaluates risk disclosures and similar documentationStrong experience in P&C and Workers’ Compensation insurance claimsStrong independent and self-motivated research and data analysis skillsStrong proficiency with MS Office Suite with advanced proficiency in MS ExcelEffective communication skills both verbal and writtenExcellent organizational skillsThese additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
Insurance licenseAt least 2 years of related Insurance industry/agency experienceStrong insurance technical knowledgeExperience in client service/client deliveryWe know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
