ResponsibilitiesWe have an opportunity for a Risk Management Supervisor to join our Berkley One team! You will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing the daily operations of the Risk Management specialists and support team. You will oversee the virtual inspection team, all scheduling functions, as well as ensuring efficient processes, and driving continuous improvement within the department.

Key functions include but are not limited to:
Supervise and coordinate daily risk management virtual inspection and scheduling operations team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accuratelyLead the project to build and implement a scheduling process for our outside Risk ManagersManage the quality and KPI’s of the Risk Management outsourced processesIdentify opportunities to streamline risk management processes and improve operational efficiencyDevelop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliancePerform reviews of reports for the purpose of identifying underwriting concerns, potential hazards and developing risk mitigation strategies and determining appropriate levels of insurance to valueClearly communicate findings and determinations to clients, agency partners and internal stakeholders and develop a plan to mitigate risk in a manner consistent with Berkley One’s philosophyConduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growthSupport cross-functional initiatives and provide operational insights to leadership and other stakeholdersProactively address operational challenges and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolutionEvaluate risks and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions to workflows.Perform other duties intended to develop relationships with agency partners, clients, internal business partnersOther projects, initiatives and work as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experiencePrior experience in risk management, loss control, construction, residential or commercial appraising, underwriting, property claims, as well as experience in the high-net-worth marketplace or a related field position is a plusAbility to recognize various construction practices and understand building costs and associated issuesAbility to learn and develop a high performing teamStrong insurance and business acumenAbility to adopt new tools and systems to enhance operational efficiencyIncredible empathy and understanding of the needs of our customers, both insureds and their agents alike; you will be an excellent, pro-active advocate for Berkley One customers and are passionate about their brand experienceExceptional oral and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and schedulesAbility to adjust to evolving demands of high-net-worth clients and regulatory changesResilient under the pressure of meeting service level agreementsExperience fostering collaboration and innovation within service and support teamsAbility to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organizationAbility to inspire, coach, and develop team members
