Mission 

As a Risk Manager , you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring potential risks throughout the entire construction lifecycle. You will work closely with the project team to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while minimising risk exposure.

 

Responsibilities

Proactively identify potential risks associated with the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases of the data center project. Analyse the likelihood and impact of each identified risk. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including contingency plans for high-impact risks. Track and monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts. Maintain a comprehensive risk register and regularly report on the risk profile of the project to project stakeholders. Collaborate with project team members, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure risk awareness and mitigation strategies are effectively communicated and implemented. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices for risk management in data centre construction. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures.

 

Communication and Collaboration:

Working closely with the project team, engineering, construction, and project management teams. Ensuring transparent communication among internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project progress. Collaborating with the business development team to establish client relationships and develop competitive proposals.

 

Profile

Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on data center projects. Proven track record of successfully identifying, mitigating, and managing project risks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Proficient in project management methodologies and risk management tools. In-depth knowledge of data center construction best practices and potential risks. Several years of experience in EPCM projects. Fluency in English ( + other languages is advantageous). Customer-oriented with initiative-taking capabilities. Experience working in a data center design environment (advantageous). Proficiency in G Suite applications (advantageous). Experience working in a global business environment (advantageous).
