ResponsibilitiesThe Company is currently seeking an Risk Manager. The Risk Manager is responsible for design and oversight of the organization's risk management program and will play an integral role with respect to insurance and other risk strategies. The Risk Manager will be responsible for analyzing corporate risk and developing company strategies to minimize and manage risk exposure, and for leading the identification, measurement, and management of company-ride risk, as well as communicating risk-related issues to key stakeholders/executive leadership. The position will oversee the development of a compliance risk management program to assess, prioritize, and manage risk.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement standards, processes, programs, and best practices related to risk management. Identify potential risk exposures, recommend solutions, implement approved programs, promote loss prevention and update and monitor compliance. Establish acceptable levels and types of risk to be managed through the Company’s global insurance program. Manage successful relations with brokers, underwriters, and other external insurance vendors, including the implementation of the company’s insurance program.Manage the analysis of insurance needs of the company to provide optimum coverage, costs, and claim settlements. Prepare policy renewals and applications.Collect, classify, and analyze risk-related data from multiple sources such as audits, claims, renewals, and financial reporting.Implement processes that identify risk exposure and classify, measure, and manage insurable risks.Make recommendations to management as to insurance strategies. Administer any self-insured plans that may be implemented in the future. Develop relationships with key business stakeholders to understand processes and proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation actions.Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of an effective compliance communication and training program.Analyze current risks and identify potential risks affecting the Company. Collaborate with other departments to identify and manage risks associated with their activities.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management.Stay current with emerging trends and developments in risk management. Collaborate with the Legal Department and others on claims management.Perform duties consistent with the company’s EEO goals and policies.Perform other duties as required/assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in related field. 5+ years progressively responsible risk management experience, including insurance risk management.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge and experience using risk management software
Demonstrated Physical Abilities
Remain stationary for 50% of the time; move/traverse throughout the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others through talking/hearing; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence.
