Risk Manager
Description We are welcoming a Risk Manager to our team in the Transport industry, situated in Riviera Beach, Florida. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity where the chosen candidate will be instrumental in handling various aspects of risk management, particularly focusing on compliance, human resources management, and employee relations. Key responsibilities: • Conduct risk assessments to understand risk level, significance, and scope • Develop risk management controls and contingency plans • Communicate with team members to ensure they are aware of risks, and advise them on potential risk management strategies • Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations • Utilize the Human Resources Management System for efficient management of human capital • Oversee corporate recruiting and college/campus recruiting processes • Manage employee relations and conduct investigations when necessary • Monitor and manage potential claims against the company • Facilitate training sessions on risk management topics • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory standards and industry trends. Requirements • Candidate should possess a minimum of 1 year experience in a risk management role, preferably within the transport industry. • Strong knowledge of compliance is essential for understanding and managing risks in the transport sector. • Proficiency in Human Resources Management System (HRMS) is required for effective data management and analysis. • Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration is necessary to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. • Expertise in Human Capital Management is crucial for managing and optimizing workforce productivity. • Familiarity with Corporate Recruiting is beneficial to understand the potential risks during the hiring process. • Experience in College Recruiting and Campus Recruiting is desired to manage risks associated with the hiring of fresh graduates. • Strong skills in Employee Relations are required to manage potential risks related to employee disputes or grievances. • Ability to conduct Employee Relations Investigations is necessary to identify and manage potential risks in the workplace.
