Citibank, N.A. seeks a Risk Policy Officer for its Schaumburg, Illinois location.
Duties: Develop recommendations and provide oversight for the implementation and execution of key risk strategies. Execute critical analysis, including test design and test vs. control analysis. Devise strategies and processes to monitor validity of risk assessments. Gather and organize collections data. Review and analyze historical credit data and communication channel data. Implement new strategies and analyze the impacts over different portfolios and communication channels. Use analytical techniques and tools SAS and Excel to develop strategies. Create powerful visualizations and PowerPoint presentations for reporting and tracking (MIS). Present credit loss, profits and strategy information to higher management to ensure strategies work as expected. Conduct statistical analyses to quantify risk, using statistical analysis software or econometric models. Build robust inventory of internal and external data sources to enhance policy development and advanced analytical capabilities in the Collections space. Maintain responsibility for Data Management across various data sources and ensure data consistency. Work on Big data technology to provide advanced analytics. Understand and analyze data structures and write optimized codes. Gather risk-related data from internal or external resources. Analyze new risk policies to determine impact on exposure. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Statistics, Economics, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Software Programmer Analyst, Risk Analyst or related position involving conducting statistical and quantitative risk analysis. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience. Full term of experience must include: Utilizing data analytics and data science to develop analytical models; Recommending strategies based on financial performance metrics for data models and evaluation methodologies; Utilizing statistical programming languages and tools including SQL, Logistic Regression, Linear Regression, KNN, Clustering, and Decision Trees; Data Visualization for reporting performance analytics and tracking volume; and Analyzing data from Big data.
