The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company’s risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com (https://www.wellsfargojobs.com/career-areas/) **In this role, you will:** + Support the execution of one or more substantial workstreams within Wells Fargo's Payment, Technology, or Independent Risk Management groups including policy, procedures, and associated controls + Support analysis, planning, and execution of large-scale and complex action plans + Function as a Business Execution advisor to leadership to drive performance and initiatives, and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior management + Lead the strategy and resolution of complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large-scale solutions + Lead team meetings or steering committee to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans + Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership + Provide direction to a cross functional team using business expertise. Document, escalate, and resolve issues in a timely manner **Required Qualifications:** + 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + Experience with Enterprise Change Management rules + Experience with Payment Systems and Payment Products + Experience with Wells Fargo Technology + Outstanding executive communication skills, including a demonstrated record of communicating complicated topics to senior executives + Experience managing large-scale initiatives, preferably at one or more major financial services institutions + Knowledge of the firm's risk management framework, including relevant policies, procedures, and programs + Understanding of best practices for program management + Ability to execute effectively on a high-profile and time-sensitive initiatives + Coordinate one or more substantial workstreams related to enhancing Wells Fargo's risk and control environment + JD, MBA, or other relevant advanced degrees and/or certifications **Job Expectations:** This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship This position offers a hybrid work schedule **Posting Location:** 401 S Tryon St Charlotte, NC 150 E 42nd St New York, NY 550 S 4th St Minneapolis, MN 600 S 4th St Minneapolis, MN 3201 N 4th Ave Sioux Falls, SD The Chief Operating Office adheres to a location strategy; therefore, your candidacy may be determined based on your current location.
