River Dock Worker/Equipment Operator

Responsibilities & Duties:

Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50+ lbs.
Ability to walk/step between barges and docks on the water
Ability to tolerate exposure to dust, noise, and outdoor conditions
The availability to work 12-hour day or/and evening and weekend shifts, from approximately 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and physical
Troubleshooting experience
Use of mobile equipment
Basic understanding of preventative maintenance
Experience with mechanical equipment maintenance
Understanding of safety aspects (PPE, Confined Space Entry Permits, LOTO, etc.)

Constant or intermittent exposure to noise, dust, vibration, and irritating atmospheres at or around operating sites.
Exposed frequently to existing weather conditions.
Lift, carry, push, pull and/or move 50 pounds maximum, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Repetitive and continuous work.

Job Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalency degree
Valid Driver’s License
Proven record of safe work habits


Pay Rate & Benefits

$30.96/hour
Any employee may earn three (3) additional skill premiums of fifty cents ($0.50) per hour(for a total individual maximum of $1.50 per hour) if they have acquired and maintained the agreed-upon set of skills applicable to their classification.
Eligible for OT
