The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Salary Range$75,500.00 - $124,700.00Target Openings1What Is the Opportunity?This role focuses on providing industry-leading risk management information through data, analytics, and consultative services. Responsibilities include using technical skills to analyze a variety of data, interpret it into meaningful insights, create visualizations to support results and delivery it to customers. Job includes integrating, mapping and balancing data from multiple sources. The position also involves administering RMIS tools, onboarding customers, and maintaining secure data access. Key duties include building, implementing and maintaining custom coding tables, offering system training, and managing a large portfolio of moderately complex RMIS accounts.At the time of this posting, Travelers anticipates this position will remain posted through March 31, 2025.What Will You Do?
Strive to be the industry-leading provider of risk management information through data, analytics, and consultative services.
Leverage technical tools to build visualizations and present results to customers.
Focus heavily on data and analytics consultation with consumers, acting as a steward of data within the service team.
Requires data integration, mapping, and reconciliation with ability to communicate the interpretation of the analysis.
Use RMIS tools and technologies to help customers interpret data and gain insights for their risk management program.
Primary application used is e-Carma, administered externally to customers and brokers.
Onboard customers and create access to secured RMIS data.
Build, implement, and maintain custom coding tables applied to insured data.
Offer ongoing system training and analytics consultation to consumers as needed.
Manage a complex portfolio of RMIS accounts and multiple users.
Participate in marketing efforts alongside service teams to help grow the business.
Secure necessary data elements, extract business insights, and help build Stewardship presentations.
Deliver insights through live presentations to customers annually.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?Bachelor's degree in finance, computer science, or risk management preferred.Three years of claim, workers’ compensation, risk management information, or data and analytics experience preferred.Advanced knowledge of the Property Casualty insurance business, products, and services.Advanced written, oral and presentation skills; ability to communicate persuasively and interact effectively with all levels of company management and clients.Advanced knowledge of Claim and Risk Management applications.Advanced knowledge of Data Analytics tools and software: Power BI, Tableau.Advanced knowledge of the Risk Management Information Systems products and programs.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal (business unit staff, information systems staff) and external contacts (brokers, agents).Ability to coach and train others.What is a Must Have?Bachelor’s degree or related work experience.Two years of claim, workers’ compensation, risk management information, or data and analytics experience.What Is in It for You?Health Insurance: Employees and their eligible family members – including spouses, domestic partners, and children – are eligible for coverage from the first day of employment.Retirement: Travelers matches your 401(k) contributions dollar-for-dollar up to your first 5% of eligible pay, subject to an annual maximum.
