MAJOR FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the Department Director and Radiation Oncologists, performs all routine nursing functions of the Department of Radiation Oncology and is responsible for all records for research projects, department statistics and patient charts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with current licensure in the State of New Jersey as required by law.      You must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position. BSN or MSN graduates preferred. (Grandfathered Exemption of Educational Requirement: Hired on or before June 1, 2013 - IMC. Hired on or before August 4, 2015 - IMCW) Graduate from an approved school of nursing.                     One year experience in a similar unit.

Certification/Licensure:         

Possess a current New Jersey State Nursing license required. BLS required. National Certification required within 3 years of hire.

Knowledge & Skills:

Contacts with patients, physicians, physicists and other department and hospital staff and patient family members. Physical Requirements:
