Job Summary: A staff nurse is responsible for implementing the philosophy, objectives, standards of care, policies, and procedures of the Nursing Division under the direction of the Office Manager. The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care. This position also trains new clinical employees in office protocols.

CarolinaEast Physicians is made up of over 150 physicians, and mid-level providers who provide care to patients spanning four eastern North Carolina Counties. Minimum Requirements:

Graduate from an NCBON approved School of Nursing and/or graduate from an approved School of Nursing.  Current RN license with North Carolina State Board of Nursing or Compact License recognized by NC State Board of Nursing. Maintains current AHA BLS certification. Knowledge of current trends and techniques in nursing. Possesses the ability to relate effectively to patients, their families, physicians, staff and all others using proper channels of communication. Recognizes the importance of being a professional role model for others. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit(s).
