Care in the Multispecialty Procedure Care Unit (MSPU) at Center for Health and Healing 2 and Multnomah Pavilion Endoscopy (MPV) is provided for adult patients across the age continuum who are having gastrointestinal related diagnostic and/or interventional procedures performed by either Gastroenterology, Therapeutic Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Cardiology, and Hematology Oncology providers. The department is open Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM. RNs take mandatory call on Monday - Friday from 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM, and rotate weekend call, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Self-directed modules and preceptorship shifts are integrated weekly for up to 40 hours per weekPreceptorship Shifts: Assigned based on Preceptor Team schedules during Monday-Friday 0700-1730, Monday-Friday 1730-2000, and Saturday- Sunday 0700-1700.Transition to Independent Practice:
Based on readiness to practice safety and the completion of group-based sessions.
