In your role, you will:

Utilize the nursing process to identify patient needs for continuous assessment in the PACU. Document and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing actions and ensure a safe environment of care. Work alongside other departments to ensure continuity of care. Provide post-surgical education to patients, creating and maintaining a sterile and safe surgical environment for the patient and monitoring the patient’s physical and emotional well-being throughout the surgical care continuumMonitoring patients for changes in status and indications of conditions such as sepsis or shock and institute appropriate interventions.Qualifications:Education• Graduate of approved nursing program required• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Experience• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent critical care, ICU or PACU RN experience Licenses and Certifications• RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) requiredDisclaimer:
