Job Posting Title: RN, Pre / Post Op PRN (Frisco) Location: Frisco - Ambulatory Surgical Center Additional Posting Details: Per Diem, as needed Monday - Friday, 10-hour Days Shifts Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities + In Surgical Services, the RN prescribe, delegate, and coordinate the nursing care provided for school age and adolescents patients + Professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients, for a designated time frame, and provides quality care to these patients + Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment Required Skills/Abilities + Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing + Hold current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or is eligible for reciprocity and holds a temporary permit from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners to practice professional nursing + 3-5 years of pre/post op, NICU or PICU experience required + Pediatric nursing experience preferred + Current BLS certification required + Must obtain PALS certification within 1 year of employment + Demonstrate advanced and mature critical thinking and assessment skills At Scottish Rite for Children, we work together with the common goal of helping give children back their childhood.
