Maintains clinical and professional competency levels required of age-specific populations.Must be an effective team-oriented nurse, assisting and mentoring others to facilitate patient and/or customer satisfaction.Able to identify appropriate staffing, supply, maintenance, and equipment needs and adjust as necessary with budgetary guidelines.Able to serve as a positive role model, be flexible/open to change, function effectively under pressure.Collaborates with Assistant Nurse Managers to complete evaluations/counseling/ disciplinary actions.Effectively and professionally communicates with other staff, physicians, shift supervisors and ancillary departments. Qualifications Current North Carolina RN license or RN multi-state licensure privilege through the Nurse Licensure Compact required.BSN preferred. To develop and maintain a highly educated registered nursing staff to meet the present and future demands of the nursing profession, employees who begin employment with FirstHealth of the Carolinas in a position that requires a registered nurse must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree within five (5) years of their employment date.Minimum of two years OR experience required.BCLS required.CNOR preferred.
