Position Overview As a Registered Nurse, you will be integral to our team, responsible for a variety of key tasks, including triaging phone calls, managing prior authorizations, providing patient education, overseeing in-basket flow, and assisting with prescription refills. This is a full-time position, running until the end of May, with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday—no weekends or holidays! What You’ll Do + Efficiently triage incoming phone calls + Navigate the prior authorization process + Educate patients on their health and treatment options + Manage patient communication through in-basket flow + Handle prescription refills promptly and accurately What We’re Looking For + A valid RN license and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience + Proficiency in triage, telephone communication, and EMR systems + Familiarity with EPIC EMR is a plus + Clinical experience in oncology and urology preferred + Prior authorization expertise is essential Your Additional Skills + Experience in oncology, breast, or gynecological nursing is beneficial but not mandatory + Strong communication and organizational abilities + A knack for multitasking in a fast-paced environment Work Environment Join a supportive and dedicated team in one of Connecticut’s largest healthcare organizations!
