Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse looking for your next adventure? We have an urgent opening for an experienced RN to join our dynamic Women's Health team in Plainville, CT. With a focus on patient care and support, this full-time temporary position offers an incredible opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

Position Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will be integral to our team, responsible for a variety of key tasks, including triaging phone calls, managing prior authorizations, providing patient education, overseeing in-basket flow, and assisting with prescription refills. This is a full-time position, running until the end of May, with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday—no weekends or holidays!

What You’ll Do

Efficiently triage incoming phone callsNavigate the prior authorization processEducate patients on their health and treatment optionsManage patient communication through in-basket flowHandle prescription refills promptly and accurately

What We’re Looking For

A valid RN license and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experienceProficiency in triage, telephone communication, and EMR systemsFamiliarity with EPIC EMR is a plusClinical experience in oncology and urology preferredPrior authorization expertise is essential

Your Additional Skills

Experience in oncology, breast, or gynecological nursing is beneficial but not mandatoryStrong communication and organizational abilitiesA knack for multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
