ADU is an 8-bed admission Medical-Surgical unit that encompasses a multi-disciplinary approach in providing patient care. Nurses specializes in delivering patient centered care to patients ranging in age from young adult to geriatric. Nurses are trained and equipped with the knowledge to care for patients with, but not limited to diabetes, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, infectious disease, invasive and noninvasive cardiology, and nephrology. The diverse group of medical patients provides nurses with an excellent atmosphere to develop strong nursing skills, autonomy, and critical thinking while promoting growth and development. Holiday and weekends are required.
