**Pay** - 100K - 120K/Annually
**Job Summary:**
In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to infants and children who have sustained neurological injuries related to birth, as well as support their families through the recovery process. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric nursing, neurological care, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Provide direct nursing care to newborns and children with birth-related neurological injuries, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
+ Monitor and assess patients’ physical and neurological conditions, including vital signs, movement, and development.
+ Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed and within the scope of nursing practice.
+ Educate families and caregivers on the medical condition, treatment options, and long-term care plans for the child’s health and well-being.
+ Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely patient records, including nursing assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
+ Provide emotional support to families, ensuring they understand the complexities of the injury and feel empowered to make informed decisions.
+ Stay current on the latest best practices and research regarding birth-related neurological injuries and pediatric nursing care.
+ Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.
**Qualifications:**
+ **Current RN license** in the state of Virginia.
+ **Experience** in pediatric nursing or neurological care, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
+ **Experience with** neurological conditions in infants and children is preferred.
+ Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to recognize and respond to changes in patients' conditions.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
+ Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
**Education:**
+ **Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)** from an accredited nursing program.
+ Current/Active License for state .
+ Current **Basic Life Support (BLS)** certification.

**Pay Details:** $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per hour
