Patient Care and Assessment: Conducts thorough assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms.Patient Education and Support: Provides education to patients and their families about post operative care. Offers emotional support and answers questions to help patients navigate their care.Administrative and Documentation Duties: Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records, including charting care provided, documenting patient interactions, and other administrative tasks.What you will need:
A Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADNACLS (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hireCurrent Registered Nurse License State of Illinois1-2 years of previous experience in a post anesthesia recovery unit.1-2 years of previous experience in a surgery center setting, preferred.Salary Range: $29.78 - $48.84 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
