This position involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan for our patients, including providing detailed care instructions. An ability to work efficiently and effectively with others, providing compassionate and cutting edge patient care while also contributing to the positive and collaborative team environment at UCLA Health is a must. Incumbent may be required to travel between Community Ambulatory Surgery Center sites as needed based on staffing requirements Salary range: $62.43 - $92.81/hourly Qualifications Required: + Graduate of and accredited school of nursing with a BSN or MSN degree + Current and valid California RN license + Current BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross + Current ACLS from the American Heart Association + Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an OR, or Perioperative setting + Must have the ability to float between Community ASC sites + Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills + Demonstrated ability to interact effectively within an interdisciplinary team + Demonstrated ability to direct nursing practice and prioritize problem solving + Demonstrate consistent critical thinking skills + Excellent time management skills with demonstrated ability to constructively engage in a fast-paced environment Preferred: + Minimum 1 year experience as surgical scrub + Inpatient PACU or Transport RN + Experience circulating and/or scrubbing the following service lines preferred: General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT, OB/GYN, Interventional Pain, or Podiatry + Conscious sedation experience UCLA Health welcomes all individuals, without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin or disabilities, and we proudly look to each person’s unique achievements and experiences to further set us apart.
