Description:Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital is a 115-bed acute hospital specializing in physical rehabilitation. Each patient has a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, therapists and specialists ... all focused on one goal ... taking back what was stolen by a stroke, traumatic injury or disabling illness. Our compassionate staff is there with up-to-the-minute treatment modalities and cutting-edge technology. The RN assists individuals with disability and/or chronic illness to attain and maintain maximum function. The RN designs and implements treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care that promote medical, physical, psychosocial and spiritual health. The RN will be trained to perform complex patient assessments, complex medical interventions (ie. IVP meds, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, ventilators, telemetry, chest tubes, tracheostomy care and weaning, tube feedings…). Highlights:

If you accept a full-time RN position (36-40 hours per week), you'll receive a $5,000 Sign on Bonus. If you accept a part-time RN position (minimum 24 hours/week but less than 36 hours/week), you'll receive a $2500 Sign on Bonus.

What you will do:

Assist individuals with disability and/or chronic illness to attain and maintain maximum function.Responsibilities:Assist patients in adapting to an altered lifestyle, while providing a therapeutic environment for patients and their families.Design and implement treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and that promote physical, psychosocial and spiritual health.Will be trained to perform complex patient assessments and implement intensive interventions (IE. IVP meds, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, ventilators, telemetry, chest tubes, tracheostomy care and weaning, tube feedings, etc).


What you will need:

New York State RN License or Limited PermitAssociates Degree in Nursing. BSN PreferredStrong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while working in a fast paced environmentCritical thinking and problem solving skillsPassion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

Candidates can choose either 8 hour shifts or 12 hour shifts.

Pay Range:$35.00 - $47.75

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
