Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pre-Op and PACU Nurse to join our team. This role involves setting up prior to surgery and managing recovery plans for patients after surgery. The nurse will provide and educate patients with pre-operative and post-operative care for both inpatient and outpatient procedures, ensuring a seamless transition through different stages of surgical care.
ResponsibilitiesSet up prior to surgery and manage recovery plans for patients post-surgery.Provide and educate patients with pre-operative and post-operative care for inpatient and outpatient procedures.Assist and coordinate care plans with doctors and nurse managers.Manage the patient's admission to the facility and present comprehensive pre-operative care plans.Provide immediate post-operative care and stabilization for patients returning to their home environment, as confirmed and approved by physicians.Coordinate pre-operative lab work and make pre- and post-operative phone calls.Essential SkillsCurrent KS RN licenseBLS certificationACLS certificationPALS certificationAt least 3 years of experience in operating room/surgeryExperience in ambulatory/outpatient/OR settingsWork Environment
The position is Monday to Friday, day shift, with 4 - 9 hour shifts, rotating Fridays off.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $45.00
