The Charge Nurse is responsi­ble in the absence of Department Directors for the operation of the Nursing Division and, when appro­priate, non-nursing departments.Acts on behalf of the Watertown Regional Medical Center Administration, in their absence, when dealing with patients, patient families, and the public.Adjusts staffing and otherwise manages resources in a cost-effective manner, remaining responsive to acuity and budgetary parameters.Discharges all responsibility with consideration of theMedicalCenterand nursing philosophy while maintain­ing awareness of legal, professional and institutional responsibilities.

Well-qualified candidates will have Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred. Experience in LDRP nursing requiredCurrent licensure by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing. CPR required on hire or within 60 days of hire. Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification also required on hire or within 6 months of hire.Well-qualified candidates will have Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
