Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX, part of Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a full time Registered Nurse to join our brand new Transitional Care Unit. The #1 city in the nation for Nursing opportunities and advancement!  Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

Schedule: Full Time - Days - 36 hours per week

Unit Summary

\n

Exciting new department at Medical Center Temple offering the opportunity to work in a fast pace ever changing patient care environment.

\n

You never experience the same day twice!

\n

This 10-bed nursing unit provides the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment working with multiple patients requiring a variety of care needs. The goal for these patients is to diagnose, monitor and treat patients within 36 hours.  

\n

If you are an experienced Med/Surg RN (Registered Nurse) this is a great place to use all of your skills!  If you like to be busy and enjoy a challenging fast pace this is the department for you!

\n

The conditions that are within the scope of service for the Transitional Care Unit include but are not limited to the following:

\n

 

\n\nchest pain\nCHF\nsyncope\ndehydration\nabdominal-gastrointestinal conditions\n\n

Qualifications

\n\nGrad of an Accredited Program\nSpecialized field of study should be nursing.\nA current and valid nursing license.\nMust have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.\n
