This is a full-time, 100% FTE position, scheduled to typically work Monday through Friday, with core hours between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some off hours may be required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This position is a hybrid position with your on-site location at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking an experienced cardiology RN (Registered Nurse) to: 

Join our NEW Center for Aortic Health team and serve as a RN-Clinical Program Coordinator working within a multi-disciplinary team.  The CPC is responsible for coordination of efficient, safe and timely program development in conjunction with triad MD partnership.  Actively participate in the development and implementation of goals, strategies, and tactics to support the continued growth and success of the program acting as the point person for the program.  Participate in department-level work groups and committees to address operational, quality, and safety initiatives.  Participate in community education and outreach programs and coordinate patient and referring provider activities.  Maintain a database for quality metrics and identify and implement process improvement initiatives.  Serve as a resource to staff within the program and to outlying facilities as well as present complex information and quality metrics.  Provide expertise within the Aortic Health Program; three years of specific cardiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required Master's Degree in business administration, management, public health, or related field Preferred Work Experience 3 years of work experience in a health care setting Required Experience leading programs and/or project with teams Required Experience in Cardiology and Surgery program development.
