Position Summary:
The RN Clinical Standards, Outpatient Practices is a critical role within our outpatient practices, responsible for ensuring clinical excellence across primary care, express care, and specialty clinics. This position focuses on overseeing clinical compliance, enhancing workflows and protocols, and fostering a collaborative environment with providers and team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. All practices are located in Oxford, NC, with the exception of one practice located in Creedmoor, NC.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to clinical standards and regulatory requirements across all outpatient practices. Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain the highest standards of patient care. Develop and implement corrective action plans as needed. Workflow and Protocol Enhancement: Analyze current clinical workflows and protocols, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency. Collaborate with providers and staff to design and implement best practices that enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Lead the development and revision of clinical policies and procedures. Education and Training: Design and deliver training programs for clinical staff to ensure ongoing education and skill development. Provide orientation and onboarding support for new clinical staff. Serve as a resource for clinical staff, offering guidance and support in clinical practice and professional development. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with providers, nursing staff, and administrative team members to support a patient-centered care model. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to align clinical operations with organizational goals. Act as a liaison between clinical staff and leadership to address any issues or concerns related to patient care. Quality Improvement: Lead quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and clinical outcomes. Utilize data to track and report on clinical performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Implement evidence-based practices and stay current with advancements in clinical care. Care Gap Assistance: Assist in identifying and addressing care gaps within the patient population. Work with providers and staff to develop strategies to close care gaps, ensuring that patients receive timely and appropriate care. Monitor and track progress on care gap initiatives, adjusting plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.Qualifications:
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of North Carolina. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient practice setting. Previous experience in clinical education, quality improvement, or leadership roles is highly desirable. BSN Preferred. Skills: Strong knowledge of clinical standards and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and data analysis tools.
