The Kemper Coronary Care Center is a busy and fast-paced Coronary Intensive Care Unit that cares for patients with heart diseases and related conditions. As RN on this team, you will ensure patients feel comfortable, supported and at ease while receiving treatment at Cleveland Clinic. 

A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00PM – 7:30AM. 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

Provide direct nursing care. Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.  Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.  Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.  Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. Educate patients and their families.   

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing  Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) upon or within one year of hire One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
