RN Critical Care - ICU

Amergis Healthcare is hiring ICU RNs for a contract travel opportunity at a well respected teaching hospital in Burlington, MA.
Qualifications:
+ Active, unrestricted MA nursing license
+ 2 years ICU experience
+ EPIC experience preferred
+ BLS and ACLS
Schedule: Days and Nights available, every other weekend
36 hours, 7am - 7pm
36 hours, 7pm - 7am
*pay packages vary by shift
Job Duties:
+ Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
+ Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition
+ Collects, documents, analyzes, and interprets data and other information from healthcare team members
+ Communicates nursing interventions, expected outcomes and the time frames for expected completion to other members of the hospital health care team
+ Functions as a resource to the health care team members in planning for patient’s discharge
+ Documents the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions
+ Provides a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment
+ Initiates and evaluates patient and/or family education
+ Compares expected and actual outcomes of care and identifies deviation from the plan of care
+ Adheres to facility/client policies, procedures and protocols at all times
+ Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
