Job Description

This is a PRN / Per diem position working in the CVICU Day shift at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ

What you'll do:

The Registered Nurse in the 15 bed CVICU participates in increased levels of care in a dynamic Cardiac and Vascular Intensive Care Unit setting that provides quality care to higher acuity patients that require therapies, complex cardiothoracic surgeries and mechanical devices such as CRRT, Impella, IABP, Targeted Temperature Management, or Open Heart surgical patients.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required:  Associates or Diploma in nursing program

Preferred:  Bachelor's degree in nursing                                                

Experience:

Clinical experience in critical care highly preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:        

Required:

Current Arizona RN license or compact state license

American Heart Association (AHA)  or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS & ACLS
