The Pines, an 82 unit senior living community comprised of care suites, independent and assisted living, located in Richfield has a wonderful opportunity for an experienced RN, Director of Health Services (DHS) to lead our team. As the Director of Health Services, you will lead the clinical team in providing excellent care for the residents at The Pines. You will be responsible for organizing, directing, implementing and evaluating the clinical program to deliver exceptional resident care and services in line with regulations and clinical best practices.
In this role, you will be supported by our highly experienced Director of Housing and regional nurses, as well as Home Office operations and clinical teams—especially during times of survey. Clinical managers will provide you with all the training you need to ensure your success in this role. We are prepared and have great processes in place. This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position. Pay Range: $85,000 to $115,000 / year depending on experience.
RN Director of Health Services (DHS) responsibilities:
Complete initial assessment of potential Independent and Assisted Living residents (we are close to having full occupancy).Create and implement individual Care Plan for each resident.Ensure residents’ rights are protected and advocates on their behalf.Communicate with healthcare providers, county personnel and family regarding residents’ current needs and health status.Take fiscal responsibility for setting and staying within budget for nursing and care-related areas.Monitors and maintains resident charts and progress notes.Oversees ordering, set up and administration of all medications.Fulfills staffing requirements for nursing department including hiring, evaluation and scheduling.Provides health and medication training to all nursing personnel as well as continued education and documents teaching and training assuring compliance with current regulations.Oversees and conducts supervision of nursing staff including employee guidance, coaching and discipline to maintain high standard of care and positive work environment.RN Director of Health Services qualifications:
Registered Nurse with current licensure with the MN State Board of NursingAssociate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school1-3 years’ leadership experience in nursingExperience in Senior Housing, Assisted Living or Home Care preferredWorking knowledge of electronic health recordsDemonstrated alignment with Cassia’s mission and valuesBenefits:
