Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Progressive Care (PCU) assignmentsin Morristown, NJ!

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability toextend)

Number of Openings: 4

Start Date: 3/3 or within 3 weeks of offer

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 (3×12’s) / Days or Nights / 7-7

*Willwork every OTHER weekend

Setting:

ED Holds unit

Position Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years of RN ICU, PCU and/or Stepdown experience + some travel experience EPIC EMR experience NJ RN or Compact RN license BLS and ACLS (AHA), NIHSS

TheProgressive Care Unit RN, as a professional practitioner, assumes theresponsibility and accountability for delivering patient care totelemetry/progressive care patients. The Progressive Care Unit RN demonstratesthe ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient mannerwith supervision. This individual employs critical thinking and performanceability in the coordinator of patient care, consistently performs according tonursing standards, and is accountable in managing patient care and assistingothers in the management of patient care. The Progressive Care Unit RN issometimes also called a step-down nurse, cardiac stepdown, neuro stepdown,surgical stepdown and in some medical centers, the PCU is also known as atransition or intermedia unit.

Minimum Requirements:
