Registered Nurse (RN) Full Time, Mid Shift Position in the Emergency Department at Northwest Health - Porter Hospital

Full time: 36 hours per week, 12 hour shiftsHours: 3p-3aMay Float to all 3 ED Locations as needed (Porter, Portage, VMC)Weekend Premium Incentive Sign on bonus up to $25,000!

About this unit: 

Northwest Health - Porter has three of the largest emergency departments in the region, offering emergency services 24/7. As an accredited Chest Pain Center and a Primary Stroke Center, nurses in this unit can expect to work closely with first responders and heart and vascular specialists to deliver fast, efficient care. 

30 bed unit, multi-functional treatment rooms for patients with varied conditions.A continued commitment to keep wait times to a minimum through the 30-Minutes-Or-LessNurses may provide care for everything from cuts and broken bones to life-threatening conditions such as heart attack or stroke.

Education: 

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) required, BSN preferred.

Licensure & Certification: 

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana.BLS certification must be maintained while in this positionACLS certification within 12 months of being hired
