We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:
Be part of the only healthcare system in Wisconsin that offers Level I Trauma Care for adults and children and a Burn and Wound Center, as verified by the American College of Surgeons (ACS). Join a department that consists of 40 acute care adult rooms, 11 Pediatric rooms, three multi-purpose procedure rooms, and three Behavioral Health “Safe” rooms. Fully equipped with three Major Trauma rooms and a Pediatric Resuscitation room to facilitate the care of the critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patient. New CareSTART area which is open during peak times to expedite the intake process and allow for patient care to begin sooner. Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing.
Work Experience:
Minimum - Six (6) months of RN experience.
Preferred - One (1) year of ICU, Critical Care, or Emergency Department experience with adult and/or pediatric populations.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the state of Wisconsin. CPR certification. ACLS and PALS certification or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.
Preferred - TNCC, ENPC, ACLS and PALS certifications.
