RN Employee Health THPG- Full Time/ Days

THPG’s Employee Health is looking for a top skilled RN.  Is that you?

 

Work location: 6048 Lake Worth Blvd. Fort Worth, Texas 76135

Work hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Day Shift; Monday through Friday from 7:30A-4:30P or 8:00A-5:00P with no weekends and some remote work

Travel: Must have the ability to travel to THPG clinics and Euless training center and Northpoint Employee Health clinic

Here’s What You Need

Education

·       Associate's Degree of nursing required Or

·       Bachelor's Degree of Science in nursing preferred

 

Experience

·       3 years of experience as a registered nurse required And

·       Prior Employee Health experience is preferred

 

Licenses and Certifications

·       RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required And

·       CPR- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation upon hire required

What You Will Do

Deploys components of the Employee Health Program

·       Reviews and applies existing regulations, standards, and /or guidelines of applicable professional organizations, regulatory and governmental agencies

·       Recommends new or revised practices or procedures based on currently accepted, evidence-based strategies

Administers periodic evaluations for employees

·       Reviews work releases

·       Performs respirator fit tests

·       Administers immunizations

Job-related injuries, exposures, illnesses

·       Provides care to workers injured or exposed on duty

·       Orders lab and/or x-ray

Post offer assessments

·       Reviews health questionnaire

·       Performs physical demands assessment

·       Collects drug screen
Assesses the results of the assessment, lab, x-rays to determine fitness for duty and/or need for referral to healthcare provider

Health and Safety Advocate

·       Reports identified opportunities for improvement that could impact worker health and safety

·       Assists with follow-up action plan development and implementation

Professional Accountability

·       Maintains and enhances nursing skills

·       Provides for worker privacy and dignity

·       Participates in strategies to meet business initiatives and unit/team, program and department specific goals and targets
