Patient Population: All ages, acuities, and stages of life. Direct patient care and documentation of patients presenting to ED with variety of complaints, triage, main sections with higher acuity, Express care/fast track with lower acuity/clinic type patients. Staff rotate to various areas based on experience and training.
\n\n\nPatient Ratios: 4:1
\n\n\nNumber of Beds: 50
\n\n\nDepartment Specifics: Currently seeking Lever IV Trauma designation, Primary Stroke Center, Primary Chest Pain Center, wonderful EMS partnership, Radiology with CT and Sono within ED, Self-Scheduling with voluntary on call, Certified Emergency Nurse fees paid, Evidence Based Practice and Process Improvement projects ongoing, Trauma training, Express Care/fast track with lower acuity/clinic type patients, Staff rotate to various areas based on experience and training.

\n\nGrad of an Accredited Program\nSpecialized field of study should be nursing.\nExperience: 2 years of specialty experience\nA current and valid nursing license.\nMust have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.\n
