We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** **What qualifications you will need:** + Current licensure as a Registered Nurse. Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted; Texas State RN license required 30 days after hire. + Associate's Degree in Nursing required; bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred. + 2 years or more experience in ER is **required** . + Certified in BLS, ACLS (upon hire) from AHA or ARC, PALS or ENPC (within 90 days of hire) and TNCC (within 1 year) required. + Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities. + Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians and employees. + Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to Emergency Room nursing. + Clinically proficient in emergency room nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the development needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient. + Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Medical City North Hills is a 165+ bed hospital located in the heart of northeast Tarrant County.
