About the role:

The Primary Care Nurse (PCN) works as a collaborative member of a Cottage nursing team and provides/supervises resident care for a specific group of residents, to include administering medications/treatments, assisting with care/interventions, life engagement, supervision of team members, monitoring implementation of the care plan, and coordinating referrals to other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, families and physicians.  The PCN promotes a resident directed care model in the cottage setting, utilizing every aspect of the environment/care model to promote quality of life and a sense of belonging.

 

We are looking for Full time, Part time, and On-Call for all shifts (Day, Evening, Night, Variable)

Required Qualifications: 

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License. Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications: 

 6 months Nursing experience in a health care facility (acute care, long term care, rehabilitation center). Supervision/leadership experience.
