Join our team as a RNFA! RN First Assistant in our Operating Room at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. This is a part-time position that will work 12-hour Day shifts. No call rotation is required for this position.
As a Magnet Designated Hospital, our nurses are highly engaged and involved in Shared Governance driving practice changes. Our nurses are supported to advance their degrees and obtain specialty certifications to advance nursing skills.
Provides surgical first assistant, scrub, and/or circulating nurse services in the operating room during surgical procedures, and assists surgical team as needed in any other capacity according to established procedures. Participates in the daily activities of the department as an active team member. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education. In additional to RNFA duties, is responsible for assigned surgical specialty area.

Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training Completion of a CCI (Competency and Credentialing Institute) recognized/approved formal RNFA Program. Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire Recent clinical experience in the operating room.Why Join Providence?
