Major Responsibilities:

Provide first or second assisting for specified surgical procedures as needed and assigned for patients of all ages.Assuring/Improving Quality Care: Facilitates the patient and family’s right to receive quality, cost effective care.Nursing Process: Demonstrates the use of nursing process as a problem-solving model.Patient/Staff Education: Demonstrates a commitment to meeting the learning needs of patients and families. Utilizes appropriate resources to meet those needs and achieve positive patient outcomes. Licensure/Certifications Required:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of IllinoisCNOR or CRNFA CertificationsCPR certification

Education/Certifications/Experience Required:

 BSN required, graduate of an accredited school of nursingCompletion of RNFA program3 years of perioperative experienceExcellent communication skillsAbility to independently perform scrub duties
