Schedule: Full Time, Weekends Only, 7pm-7am, Nights
The Registered Nurse (RN) assumes responsibility and accountability for patients on the Med/Surgical, Intensive Care, ED, FED, GYN, GI, ENDO, and PACU units as demonstrated by competency. The Flex RN II will also be trained and required to perform duties of the House Supervisor. They will report daily to Nursing Administration for assignment to unit. The RN may be pulled during the shift as the workload demands change. The RN is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing care of patients in correlation with the Nursing Process, Alabama Nurse Practice Acts, South Baldwin Regional Medical Center standards of care, philosophy, mission, and the medical plan of treatment and care. The Flex II registered nurse will also be required to rotate weekends and be available to rotate to night/day shift when needs arise.
Requirements
Associates Degree in NursingAL RN LicenseBLSACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within 30 days from employment.Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surgical and Critical Care fields. One year experience in OB/GYN is preferred.Charge nurse and/or leadership experience preferred.What We Offer
